Boeing's bid to supply refueling tankers to the Royal Air Force was helped last week when one of its bid partners, U.K.-based Serco , was awarded a three-year contract to continue running support services for the RAF's current tanker fleet. Boeing and Serco, with BAE Systems , have a consortium that is bidding to convert Boeing 767s to tankers.
