China lashed out at any one providing any missile systems to China. The biggest question is can China penetrate the American missile defense system? According to experts, China cannot penetrate American missile defense system as of today. America has the capabilities to control the ionospheres and literally fry the electronics of any ballistic missile system. The capabilities of shielding against cruise missiles are also remarkable. There is very little chance if China can really penetrate the sky protected with American missile defense systems. China's frustration in the matter came out as the country expressed outrage on anyone helping Taiwan in this matter. In a 17,000-word policy paper issued Sept. 1, China indirectly warned the United States not to provide protection to Taiwan through a missile defense system. Separately, Zhang Yan, director-general of the Foreign Ministry's department of arms control, said any country that developed a missile defense system would jeopardize global stability, international strategic stability, relations between nations and regional security." He did not specifically name the United States.
