Professor Paul Rogers, Professor of Peace Studies at Bradford University and an International Security Consultant for the Oxford Research Group will be speaking on the 'War on Terror' on a talk he has labelled:

On Wednesday 1st March 2006, at 7.30pm, with a small reception at 7pm in the Banquet Suite, Leeds Civic Hall.

Olof Palme , Prime Minister of Sweden and Chair of the United Nations Commission on Common Security, was assassinated in Stockholm on 28th February 1986.

The Vice Chancellor of Leeds Metropolitan University, the Swedish Ambassador and the Deputy Lord Mayor (confirmed) have been invited to attend.
