The Greek Ministry of Defense along with the Army General Staff made another provocative move. With an urgent message to certain army units they ordered 10 conscripts – doctors to report immediately to the Greek Pentagon in Athens, to take some necessary evaluation tests and finally to report in the NATO headquarters in Naples. Nevertheless, the conscripts reacted showing great determination. The great majority of them refused to obey to this outrageous order and demanded to to be rejected from this duty, denying to serve under the NATO killers' commands. Only the last moment did the Army Staff find the required number of conscripts to send to Naples! Let us note here that till now in Naples served only regular officers of the Greek army. It is not the first time Greek soldiers are ordered to serve their military duty outside the Greek border. Although the Constitution forbids the conscripts transfer outside the border, 4 Greek battleships manned with more than 200 conscripts are patrolling in the Persian Gulf and the Eastern Mediterranean, preparing the next NATO attack against Iraq. It is not the first time also, that Greek conscripts refuse to take part in international (humanitarian=terrorist) missions. After a failed suicide attack against the Greek Battleship ADRIAS in the Persian Gulf, half of the conscripts serving on it demanded to be transferred to another battleship, away the Persian Gulf. The Committee for Solidarity with Soldiers demands from the Greek government:
We hail the DECENT refusal of the majority of conscripts – doctors to be transferred to Naples. We call all Greek soldiers to refuse to take any part in the unjust war against the Iraqi population.
