http://edmi.parliament.uk/EDMi/EDMDetails.aspx?...

That this House welcomes the Government's decision to launch a public debate on the future of Britain's nuclear weapons; recognises the significantly changed international circumstances from those in which the current Trident missile system was conceived, designed and constructed; notes the close relationship between the British and American Trident missile systems; is aware that there are a number of options available to the Government in considering replacements for the current system; and therefore calls on the Government to publish a consultation paper setting out the issues, including threat assessments, estimated costs and all nuclear and non-nuclear options, as a basis for the public debate.
