CAMP NEWS, MEETINGS, ETC.

We were evicted on August 18th. The base and camp were featured on the regional TV stations for the 6th time during the 18month eviction hearings.

In defiance of the eviction judgement women came to camp on the 3rd weekend of August and made a very visible display of banners alongside the A59. (Anne Lee, the only woman who gave the High Court an undertaking to abide by the judgement, did not display any banners).

Camp will be held on the third full weekend of every month for the present.
